Sun Valley Ice Show
The Sun Valley Ice Show is an extraordinary thing to do. You should go. And I'll just leave it at that.
I've been to Sun Valley a handful of times but never to ski. Loser! I hear the slopes there are the cats meow. But I've got some pretty sweet slopes in my backyard. MEOW. Do you know what I don't have in my backyard? Olympic ice skaters and an exquisite buffet dinner. That would be cool though.
They have quite the line up this year. Jeremy Abbott, Johnny Weir, and Evan Lysacek to name a few. I'm such a name dropper. Shows start July 4th and run through Labor Day weekend.
Sun Valley is a great spot for a summer trip. You've eaten yourself silly at the buffet (how many oysters and pastries did you have? Beesh.) You've cheered for the ice skaters (rah! rah! rah! go for the gold!) You've sat in awe at the beautifulness surrounding Sun Valley Lodge (awe-mazing). Now what?
Take a hike! Ride a bike! Relax in the hot springs. And enjoy all sorts of other things.
Psst...our favorite place to eat breakfast is at Cristina's. More on Sun Valley eats later.
